Muscle Bike - warning BIG !

Hi I forgot to post these here and they seem quite popular on Flicker as some here have commented ... I thought more here may enjoy these too


We saw this view driving home from Royal Wootten Bassett yesterday

It is about 30 ft long by 20 ft tall

Nick says "a scaffolder built it, as a model of his own MUSCLE BIKE" this must weigh a few tonnes Maybe it was inspired by a Christmas present of Meccano" as a child

Thanks Wally, it is a heck of an Engineering Project Glad you enjoyed these - it is beside the Royal Wootten Bassett to Calne road if anyone wants to go see for themselves ... maybe it will be at a BIKEWORLD Exhibition soon

Middle one needs brightening to match,

Nicely spotted although from the size of the bike you couldn't miss it, I love coming across sculptures like this. Brilliant.

What a Devilish contraption, Chevvy ... damn me if I would want to be in your path with you at the throttle, although I reckon we could have fun with me riding pillion and you doing doughnuts! What a swathe of destruction we'd leave behind!

oooh! Mark you are brave to even THINK about riding pillion behind me - I have only taking one pillion - a Teddy BEAR we all used to on the Girls Wednesday Ride Outs (to lunch) and home a mid week treat for Ladies on TWO WHEELS

An inspiring work of martial art! I would love to own a twin again! I would have used an other handle bar style, but mine were always in or close to burgundy red as well

That looks like 1 big beast and has been very well thought out and put together, how large was it in comparison to a normal bike?

I can visualise you climbing on board that one Chevvy!!

Ian, It was about 30 ft wide x 20 ft high - and I had difficulty climbing the Five -bar gate - let on it ... in the dress and shoes I was wearing to Tea at a friends (with the Ferrari collections)
