Hi All
Had a lovely suprise from a mate on here today (thanks Andy) which the wife and I are currently enjoying and have almost completed, and decided to have a go at taking some shots with the FL-50 mounted external to the E-3. So, put some seed down, donned the 70-300mm on the E-3, and within a few minutes spotted a juvenile Dunnock in the fir tree and as usual, the Field Mouse came out to see what was for dinner.
Here's a selection of the results.
Have to say, the Field Mouse has become incredibly tame, these shots are full frame and not cropped. I actually sat outside the patio doors, the flash was connected via the 2m cable and was mounted on one of my stands only 2' from the him, and I managed at one point to get close enough that the 70-300mm wouldn't focus as I was too close!!
