This should be a larger size photo - again shot in Scarborough. There were dozens of the little beasts running everywhere - this one would not leave us alone so I shot it (with the 510 of course).

As you probably gathered - you can hardly have missed it, these critters are not everyones favourite.

I have some fat balls in little net pouches (sold commercially as bird food) hung up in one of the trees in our back garden and one of the local squirrels bit through the string holding it up and made off with it the other day

But you do have to admire their tenacity and resourcefulness.

Excellent shot, with great detail in the squirrel's face and fur.

We get a few red ones up here in the north east, but they are smaller, much more timid, and very difficult to photograph.
