  • Back to Bristol Channel sunsets

Back from English Channel to good old Bristol Channel. The sunset wasn't that great today considering what a scorching day it's been. Also, sunset coincides with high tide here at the moment, so no beach shots as the sand is all covered with water.

With a 10 stop filter on the E-M5 and 9-18mm it's possible to jazz things up a bit, though, firstly to smooth out the water on the rocks and to get a bit of movement in the clouds. This is a 20 second exposure with the camera mounted on a gorillapod.

    As always, comments/criticism welcome.

This one doesn't move like your other more vibrant sunsets, Roger.

I do think it would make a nice pano though by adding some saturation and cropping down to the letted 'd' in Cariadus.
