Dying flowers - I love you still

On leaving the Health Clinic on Friday, I asked if "I may take some of the dying Sunflowers home?" The owner was surprised by my request, not only that - that the floral display (with Artistes' card propped in front) was, indeed DEAD ! Not a very good Advertisement

Inspired by Vincent, although his were 'lively sunflowers' and my own without a vase -as I wanted to present them, themselves.


This first one, is quite unique - it has petals growing out from the centre

And you say this was/is a health centre glad I am not a flower! Lovely shots petals in the centre I have never seen that in Sunflowers before.

Very clever imagery Chevvy, shows off your originality.
I would not expect of myself to be so photogenic when I reach that point in my life cycle ... OMG ... I HAVE !

The Sunflowers are now out for 'recycling' as birds love the sunflower seeds maybe I shall catch a nice image or two of birds on them eating

I'm sure that Vincent would approve, it's maybe how he would have painted them in one of his darker moods.

I Love the way you have arranged the flower structure and the background is very interesting. I also think you made the right decision to just use the sunflower with out the vase My favourite has to be your first take regards John.

I Love the way you have arranged the flower structure and the background is very interesting. I also think you made the right decision to just use the sunflower with out the vase My favourite has to be your first take regards John.

Ahh! ha! Paul, JUST because you do not display any here in your gallery, does not mean your rubbish at them, just un practiced and not bored enough ... given the beautiful Girls in your life, on a regular basis I can see why there are no still life images here in your gallery ...

ps your time will come, when the girls are grown up and your really BORED !
