Re: More flexing the 60 mm muscles
The clean lines in #4 make this the best of the set, for me. The DOF in #1 is too thin for my taste - I would like to see all 4 (4 1/2?) from that top stem as sharp as the one dead centre. Well done Huw.Most used: EM5i + 12-200mm, In briefcase: E-PM2 + 12-42mmEZ
Film Kit OM4Ti + Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit ) 28-105mm F/2.8-3.8, Sigma III (OM fit) 75-200mm F/2.8-3.5, Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit) 100-500mm, Zuiko 50mm F/1.2

Re: More flexing the 60 mm muscles
Exceptional detail in #3 that shows off the 'muscle flexing' prowess of your 60mm, Huw.
When in your previous post I commented that I can't compete with that, to which you replied correctly that it's not a competition, it was on my part simply a colloquialism, not a retreat!
I am impressed by your macros but also miss the walks you took us on, and the odd tour of Brussels.

With regard to walks, never fear I've kept my my powder dry
I have a couple of recent excursions up my sleeve... having now said that I hope they live up to the billingRegards Huw

Re: More flexing the 60 mm muscles
I seem to recognise the species in the second shot but don't have my European bug books here in Canada. I want to say solitary wasp/ichneumon species.

Lovely set, it's No 4 and No 3 for me the 60mm is truly a superb lens and from this presentation you've unleashed it's power, great pictures.
