  • Borough Market

Was out in Borough Market a few months ago with a Panny G5 to try as part of my job, most are taken with the kit 14-42 and a couple with the 7-14.

    14-42mm

    7-14mm

    Thanks for looking.

An interesting set with some unusual angles. No 4 in particular intrigues me, parts of it look like a B&W conversion whilst other parts have muted colours. However you processed this, it's a striking effect and really makes those gas bottles on the truck dominate. It's also a nice touch how the gas bottles match the colour of the "Fish" sign to the left. Excellent!

          I nice collection there - Was that a shot of a G5 taken by a G5?

With the selective colour I would prefer if the highlight only was colour.

This is the Selective Colour mode on the G5 come straight out of the camera I was also expecting it to be pretty much black and white with only the colour selected highlighted but interesting none the less.

I too would of preferred it that way not sure if there was any settings on the camera I could have fiddled with it was the only time I used the G5 as part of a Panasonic training through my job, I think the aim was to show how easy it is to take pictures for beginners and how in-camera processing helps them create more creative pictures.

              That is indeed a picture of a G5 taken by a G5

              Thank you

Well it seems like people really like the selective colour effect it is pretty dramatic I must say hopefully this filters down into more models.

yep is fun plus being in the airport the prices are pretty decent so can usually get a good deal on anything I want.
