I have been trying to capture a goodly defined macro of a Daff - but it eludes me

Some very pleasing images there, Phill.
I, too, was in our garden today, camera in hand, thinking it was a relatively calm day but as soon as I put camera to eye, a breeze seemed to appear from nowhere in what is a very small sheltered area!

Cor thanks everyone I'm well chuffed with your comments.
As for the Daff I'm afraid it was rather a happy accident really as I was chasing the fly and just liked how the flower looked as background. I was particularly taken by the stripes at the base of the flower and the contrast with the vivid yellow.

Thanks Tim I tried quite hard with that one changing apertures to see what I could get. Hand holding and the gentle breeze was driving me mad. I nearly gave up and went for the tripod and a peg to clamp the flower but I was just too lazy
