  • Thought I'd have a go at macro too

The sun came out so thought I'd grab a few shots in the garden.
I'd forgotten how a little breeze make macro quite difficult.

        Nice Phill.
No1 for me. I adore the globular shape of the tulip and I like the way my eye was drawn right into the centre of the flower.

Some very pleasing images there, Phill.

I, too, was in our garden today, camera in hand, thinking it was a relatively calm day but as soon as I put camera to eye, a breeze seemed to appear from nowhere in what is a very small sheltered area!

Nice colours and detail. I do like the daffodil trumpet as well - I never know how to deal with daffs, but this works well.

Cor thanks everyone I'm well chuffed with your comments.
As for the Daff I'm afraid it was rather a happy accident really as I was chasing the fly and just liked how the flower looked as background. I was particularly taken by the stripes at the base of the flower and the contrast with the vivid yellow.

Thanks Tim I tried quite hard with that one changing apertures to see what I could get. Hand holding and the gentle breeze was driving me mad. I nearly gave up and went for the tripod and a peg to clamp the flower but I was just too lazy
