  • Never Again

Both my daughters (one 16 (Sprog#1) & one 12 (Sprog#2)) are looking to take up dancing as a career.

Sprog#1 was in an Irish Dance display a couple of weeks ago at college (on St. Patrick's day). Normally when they arrange a show they get professional photographers in but this was a 'side' event so that hadn't been arranged.

The evening before the peformance Sprog#1 informed me that I was the 'official' photographer and had to create a set of photo's and a video of the performance that could be sold.

I did my best but it's really hard to get pics in a state that I'd be comfortable to sell to people (a few examples below).

Sold?! That's a lot of pressure on you.
I guess you can check out their previous products and try to get the same ...

Difficult ask on such short notice, but you have managed well.
Given that this might happen again, I would be inclined to go to rehearsals to practice, and, as a point of Law, make sure that the School have signed waivers from all the childrens parents, especially as they are considering going public with the images.
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.
