    I went out with my dog today to the Lakes to see what things were like and take some pics.

    Here is my shot of Crummock water and surrounding fells

              Great lighting and mood in this one Alf. Not LFI, I know but can see why you wanted that patch of blue at the expense of a tad more foreground for balance.

                  Looking at your picture reminds me that apart from the bad conditions round West Yorks I should be up there. Great shot-Thanks.

                            The snow is patchy as it didnt snow that much but the wind was wild and it drifted badly.
