  • Plumstead Cemetery Revisited

Couldn't sleep so reworked an image hoping to relax to the pleasant sounds of Susumu Yokata's Distant Sounds Of Summer

Is this a crop. Tom, or the actual image?
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

Actual image plus I've mixed the white balance a bit, taken with the EM-5 & 75mm.

Superb detail and also love the DoF, just feel it needs a little more room on the left and top to balance her eye direction ??

I see what you mean Imageryone I'll be taking more photos at this interesting location over the next few days see what I can do. I must say the 75mm lens makes me say WOW every time I take a picture with it, it's probably got the best IQ out of all the m.4/3 lenses released to date.

This has lovely detail, of the folds and feathers of the angel, and also the patina over it.

I think a photo at a slightly different angle would be worth a try, so the angel's left hand stands out against the oof background. In this photo, the left hand seems to blend with the hair. Not too much of a different angle though; the hand would then be in front of the wing...

Thanks Eva and I do think you are right a step to the left might just be enough to get the left hand against the oof background as Chevvy said, well spotted its amazing what a fresh pair of eyes see.
