Sorry about the quality, but had to do the best I could, they were only like this for a split second

    E-1 & 70-300mm
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

A split second is quite a long time for these hyperactive little birds to stay still. A delightful shot.

Well caught, the long tailed tit is my favourite bird they are so small and cute and fit in the palm of your hand.

A couple of days ago one flew from the feeder into the living room window and knocked his self out. I rushed out and he was on his back in shock so he spent a half hour inside my jumper where it was warm and dark and eventualy made a full recovery and I let him go.
          Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

img1 - A cute cute pair and photographically a swine of a place perch.

Paul - I do that every time I go through the revolving class door at the bank, I know how he felt!

                  I lurve them too

Interesting "Life Saver" ... we have a floor to ceiling big glass window and often get them K.O.'d ... we have put the bird in a small box lined with "pock/wadding/feathers" ... and they did not fly away shall try a jumper warm up for the shock

Awww! Lovely. Like little balls of candy floss on a stick.
I've never managed to get a photo of them yet - they're just too quick, so well done.
