I was down in North Devon (my home area) earlier in the week for a family funeral. Before this I heard that there was royalty in town (Braunton actually) to visit where the bad floods were before Christmas. Managed to grab some images with my EPL-1 and standard 14-42 kit lens. Here are a selection, all taken on ISO 800. Yes, I quite like my EPL-1!
I enjoyed these Dave. People do get excited about the rich and famous.
I want to know more about Camilla's brooch. I am sure that is a piece of jewellery with a story. I really like it and hope someone can tell more about it.
I wonder what custom T-shirt Camilla bought? (Pic No 3) Maybe, "When you are King, dilly dilly, I shall be Queen."
Great set of shots, Dave, I doubt the pros did any better. The E-Pl1 is a great little camera. My only gripe was that the buttons are too close together for my unusually clumsy fingers, but that was just my problem.
PS I agree that the 2nd shot is so good that it is worth repeating as No 7.

"A hundredth of a second here, a hundredth of a second there even if you put them end to end, they still only add up to one, two, perhaps three seconds, snatched from eternity." ~ Robert Doisneau
There must be a caption attached to Charles on the 2nd shot...." have you seen Camilla anywhere, .....aahh there she is looking for another bit of tat for my wardrobe"
Actually these really show the true colours of the Olympus cameras, you just can't beat them, nice pictures..
