Controversy is raging in SA at the moment as a firm is seeking permission to put the largest wind farm in Aus on the Yorke Peninsular. We have quite a few already in SA.
A lot depends on backdrop, lighting and camera angle, Lyn and a little help from Photoshop.

Yikes! Bridges yes - I quite like bridges, and can even see beauty in them.
Some are actually quite magnificent, and awe inspiring.
But electricity pylons and all those wires - not beautiful to me.
    But impressive photos Mark.

I actually loved the Eifel Tower Mark. It is only going under electricity wires that I hold my breath - and when I see that bill come in the post.

Well I must concede that you are at least one up on me (or doubtless many more) for I have not had the pleasure of visiting Paris. Being not especially fond of French cuisine, when an opportunity arose we chose Vienna, Saltzburg, Heidelberg instead. Wir lieben Rolle Arden, Bienenstich und Junger Wein!

No you should not be offended and may the "power be with YOU" I actually admire that you can see something that I and perhaps others walk past, without a thought.

Thanks for clearing that up, Roberta. I was unsure as to how I should take it as the phrase is often intended as a put down..

A slightly different (eccentric?) view of the Eiffel, and sundry other steel.

And a flying boat, no less!

Yes, it is Paris and it is the Eiffel, but from the working man's viewpoint on the Seine.
