Rosemary, I think this set shows very good photographic skill with great variety. Solar eclipse, wow - and your picture shows how it was done! Have a great 2013.

The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

Enjoyed these Rosemary. We have been to the North Island and hope to get to the South Island very, very soon.

A nice set Rosemary. Thanks for bringing back good memories of a trip to NZ (mumble mumble) years ago. I particularly like the red boat in the blue harbour.

                Ciao ... John

                  Re: Another 12 for 12

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and it's interesting to see what appeals to others.

In general, I'm a bit of a sucker for reflections - whether on water, windows, mirrors or cars! I go to a number of car shows with my husband, and of course at these events the cars are extremely shiny - so many photo opportunities

I've been enjoying all these collections of 12 for 12 very much. It's a great idea, and so many marvellous photos - thanks everyone for the effort put in to select and load their images.

                  Happy New Year to all

A lovely glimpse of Wellington and environs, not to mention your scientific approach to capturing the solar eclipse.

I have yet to visit NZ, your pictures remind me so much of my home town Hobart, Rosemary.

Edit: Yachts on Wellington Harbour could almost be mistaken for Hobart's River Derwent from Montague Bay.
