there is still much to do to get a clean image but not too shabby...
So I apologise... the new sensor is rather good... now how do I get extended external power into the epm2

You could build your own external power supply by cutting open a spare battery, remove the cells and build an adapter that could feed eight or nine volts from a larger battery pack.

I haven't seen a night sky like that for years. Light pollution in the city denies us townies so much.
