Took a trip to Donna Nook (Lincolnshire) to see the seals on Friday - lots of seals of all ages within easy reach of the path and viewing area. As it was a rare break in the awful weather it was a bit like Blackpool, but plenty of photo opportunities, including many youngsters with the Aaahh factor!
A great set of pictures. No 3 would be good for a captions contest.

Martin, A fine set. The nearest seal in #1 looks more like a kind of poacher's decoy than the real thing. I really like the birds in the last image - just a crop with these might be good.
I had a day there the Friday before, although the weather wasn't as good. Saw the sun for about 5 mins.
