  • E-M5 dog action shots...

all of these were taken with the E-M5 and 45mm - which is so sharp I cut my fingers every time I get it out of the bag!
I'm pleased with the action shots which were prefocussed - 3 keepers out of 20 shots isn't bad....there were more actually but I don't want to bore you too much!

Fantastic shots. You did very well to get the focus spot on with him running towards you. His eyes look quite manic in 1 & 3!

Wish I could do some action shots with my greyhound, but sadly he's beyond any action now other than a slow walk (he's nearly 13).

Loverly shots and he is a good looking dog.

Never get fed up of looking at dog pics or taking them, I spent a half hour today photgraphing my Chihuahua and a Shitsu running full pelt.
        Regards Paul.

Same here, we don't have kids so our pair are my models..................bit of a problem with dachies to get action shots requires you to be prone on the ground and then you get tramped on..................

I hope you post your results Paul.

Thanks for all the comments, I never get tired of shooting the dog - especially when the light was as good as it was this afternoon.

I doubt it Brian as they were taken with my Pentax K-r not my Pen.

I nearly alway use the Pentax for action shots of the pooches now as the keeper rate is very good compared to my Pen which I love, my problem with yesterdays shoot is which ones of the good ones to throw away as there was to many to keep them all.
                      Regards Paul.
