  • Bliss Mill

I've driven past this building many time on my way to Worcester. This is Bliss Mill in Chipping Norton.

    Former tweed mill,now flats.

I'd be interested in peoples views on this picture, obviously highly processed due to the back lighting but I rather liked the trees.

I've not been passed this place for some years - probably since the M40 opened.
Although the building is in shadow it looks good, I agree the trees look great ...cant imagine how it could be improved without waiting for ages to see if the building became illuminated by the changing cloud and light.

      Re: Bliss Mill

I like this a lot - the light I think works very well with the trees and although you could, as Brian mentions, have waited for the light to fall on the Mill building, I think that would have detractred from the special background lighting effect.

My only query is whether the dome below the chimney is actually blue. My memory is that it's lead grey.

BTW had you looked in at Morris Photographic, because your viewpoint was just across the road from them!
