    Every year at the Seven Valley Steam line they have a 1940's weekend And I was there again this year as usall.... I hope you enjoy them.











    And finally Arthur a 84 year old WW2 veteran got to kiss Lola the singer (I sent him a few pics)

          Really a great set of photos, and looks like a good time was had by all, I wonder what the first couple of shots would look like if they were done in sepia, or B&W.

                These are great portrait shots! I was at the East Lancs railway met in May.
                The singer (Lola) was superb! Thoroughly enjoyable. It caught me by surprise since I'd never been to one of these before, although it was only half an hour's drive away.

                  Yes, there is no doubt that these are great photos. I like the sepia toned best. We didn't see colour photos at that time of history. How well I remember it. I must say that the "Goring" recreation is very good!! Good work and good photography.

                    Nice pics Stannesman, I like the sepia one but historicly speaking I do not think they had MOT testing in the 1940's
