A Spruce Grouse - these birds are known as Fool's Hens as they are so used to relying on their amazing camouflage that when caught in the open, like this one, they remain basically unconcerned.

Mountain Goat - this was a very lucky sighting as they are now very rare and found in the high mountains (mind you I was at 7000ft acroos the border into Montana). This female had two kids in tow:

Richardson's Ground Squirrel - a bit like the Pika this rodent is stuffing its mouth with dried grass to take back to its burrow for winter fodder:

Again E5 and 50-200, except the last one with 12-60mm as I wasn't carrying the telephoto.
