Had a walk around the old and new bits of Birmingham city Centre and found some old and new comparisons.

Blimey, things have certainly improved since I was last in Birmingham. That pub, "The Fox and Graffiti," looks positively upmarket to what I remember!

Well, I would have said "Fox and Hounds" but your question might contain a clue, unless it is just a typo. Anyway, I'll take a punt on "Fox and Horses."

It's probably something totally obscure, like the "Fox and Grapes."

I wouldn't be surprised.....this was one of 3 pubs left standing in otherwise wasteland so something must be stopping them being vandalised or even demolished.

                      Re: Old and New

I was wondering how it had that name as I couldn't see how Fox and Grapes go together and had a look through some of the other shots and had a look at the name thingie ( they must have a name).

Still don't get it....but am very surprised that it...the Guinness one ...the road name and even some flashing are still intact....very honest us brummies...or we don't do E-Bay/car Boots.

EDIT...think that sign was done by the landlords kids...he he

The City of Birmingham might be interested in these images for tourism promotional materials, Keith ...
