  • National Dahlia Collection Cornwall.

    This is the 1st time i have posted pictures I hope you enjoy.
    All these were taken using some of my M42 mount lenses on my E600.
    Most with the Carl Zeiss 135mm f3.5. You are most welcome to make any coments good or bad.

          Hi Steve

          These are all lovely pictures but they all look a bit dark on my monitor.I've had a look at the histogram on a couple of them and there's a lot of space on the RHS.
          They look even better with a bit of adjustment

              I have a feeling i have the brightness too high on my monitor. Must get one of those calibration thingy me wotsits.

                Thanks for sharing this nice set, good colors, smooth light and details. I like the composition in 2 and 5.

                The pictures look slightly underposed to me, toning the highlights should be quite easy to fix in SW.

                    I agree they are underexposed, one of the problems of using Legacy lenses. I have an E600 which has a exposure shift setting. If i set this to overexpose by say 1/2 a stop does this automaticly overexpose by 1/2 a stop everytime i take a shot. Or does this setting do something else.

                      Superb shots Steve they do a little dark But I like the colours and Quality of the blooms. thanks for posting John.
