  • What am I

I look like a watch but I don't tell the time.
I'm made of silver and I have an escapement.
My dial is white and my numbers are black.
I have a hand but I have no winder.

    I'm one of these...

I'm counting on a precise answer.

Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

No.. Zuiko wins. It's a Pedometer. It measures pedants. To be precise I think you'll find it measures the quantity of pedants.

It passed though our house this lunchtime (like these things do) so I grabbed a macro shot of it.

          :-)

            That's a bit pedantic!

Does a public footpath go through your lounge?

I presume it was just getting into its stride?
