    Just back from a week on the South coast and what a week for weather.

    Rye bay.



    Early morning


    Lunch Time.


    Mid-afternoon,to hot for me to sit out.


    Late evening,now that's better.


    Who needs the Adriatic

    Andy love the first and last.

    The first is unusal in that sandy beaches are normally shot with a straight coast your shot is different in that it shows just how jagged the cost is and the wind turbines could easily be cropped out to give a different feel to the scene.

    The last as the Union jack bag seals the shot as britich should you ever think it was the Adriatic!

      Lovely set showing the different stages of the day. You obviously picked the right week for the weather. I must say the windmills for the sand castles seem much bigger than I remember from when I was a kid.

          That early morning shot is a smasher, shadowy shapes on the beach, hazy windmills and a balloon what a mixture, well spotted.

            I'm a Scot, and in OZ and I HATE SAND, so love the pebbly beach shots, and what pray tell were the temps, mid teen's......................

              It was about 28 degrees,to hot for me.Back to normal though today, only 17.
