  • 70-300mm Images For Ulfric

Ulfric these were taken recently with the E-1 and 70-300mm at 300mm using a monopod.

A bigger selection of the ZD 70-300mm can be seen here in a temp album I have made. Most were shot handheld with it on the E-30.

Bloomin' heck, Paul. Those are amazing. I especially like the second one. I think I will have to get my 70-300 out of retirement and have a play with it, although I can't remember ever getting such sharp images with mine.

Excellent sharp shots - and very well done without IBIS too.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate you posting these ... but couldn't you have posted crappier or blurred pictures instead?
My longest 'properly-good' lens is this here 40-150 and I'm not sure I need your well-priced 70-300.
          That's what I'm deciding.
I'll pop across to the neighbours' for a swig of Whisky (mine, actually) and get back to this a bit later ...

I have to agree they are all absolutely smashing shots. Whatever the secret is you should bottle it and make your fortune

It's strange that some people complain about the 70-300 not being sharp as I very often shoot wide open with it and get good results, mine must have been a particular good copy perhaps.

Thank you guys, these were requested by Ulfric as I am selling that lens but the comments are appriciated.
                Regards Paul.
