Without wishing to appear immodest - I am very proud of the picture for various reasons - but it does show what is possible with a camera that is regarded by many as being quite out of date. I did use 3fps continuous shooting and this is my choice from 5 frames.

Ian, I bought a 520 from a fellow on here this year - because of the image quality - and I do think it is a very capable, great lightweight piece of kit ! My Nick uses it lots (as he has not bought an E-5 yet, nor have I bought him an E-5)

as for the composition - well anyone here would be very very happy with this shot !

The lens used - that 14-150mm Panasonic Leica D Vario Elmar; possibly my favourite ever lens, certainly shows its class.

            Re: Catch that pigeon!

I started out with the E520 +14-54mm, but sold the body on to a lovely lady earlier this year, and the above shot reminded of my own "fun" pigeon shot, which I may post later for a hoot.

I would have been delighted and still would however to get a lovely shot like your's, very well done.

            Best wishes......Alan
