        They don't look real - almost like ventriloquist's dummies! I like the blue on blue effect of their features against the sky.

            But the North Sea I know is gunmetal grey, tinged with brown - we're not used to seeing it like this!

              Here's a PPC showing the blue blue sea just up the coast at Filey, taken the previous day. It was the weekend before the Jubilee weekend - the one that would normally be a Bank Holiday, but by Royal prerogative, wasn't - hence the glorious weather

                Another excellent shot of these 'designer' seabirds. I like the OOF pink flowers in the foreground. Nice one Bilbo.
