  • Flowers with E-M5 (could do with some help on ID)

Took the dog for a walk in Porthkerry Park yesterday and experimented with some flower shots on the E-M5. All taken with the 12-50mm in macro mode and all taken with the clip-on flash, apart from the first one.

I'm hopeless with flowers - I know bluebells, buttercups and dandelion, but can anyone tell me what the rest are?

It probably would be better to light the flowers from the side with off camera flash, but as I don't have one the clip-on flash had to suffice.

Different processing of the bluebell shot. Not quite sure if I like this or not. One minute I do and the next I don't...

The old dandelion is the best of a fantastic bunch for me!

No.2 looks like a type of umbelliper - google Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris) or Pignut (Conopodium majus)
No.5 looks like Red Campion (Silene dioica)

        Regards

Phil and sponner, thanks. I've come round to it a bit more myself now. Very little actual processing done - just opened the RAW file in Viewer 2 and applied the soft focus art filter and surround.
