  • Female Blackbird

    Another with the hired 300mm 2.8 + 1.4 TC.
It helped to be out of the direct sun as I struggled with it.
Hand held - full frame - just a sharpen.

The eyes have it - great focus on the eye. What does it cost to hire a lens?

Might be a bit pricey to get it to Oz.

                          Hi Keith,

I think this is a great shot that perfectly captures the sometimes stroppy pose of the blackbird! I love the character of these birds.

Such a shame that the kingfisher wasn't suitably co-operative.
