Butterflies are early this year!

THe current warm weather has brought out butterflies earlier than I am used to in this part of the world. So far I have seen Brimstone, Peacock and Tortoiseshell. Today I caught a Peacock on some pansies - I nearly caught it on a daffodil - which really would have been a first!

Judging by the wings on the Peacock it's a survivor from last year. Nicely caught.
