    Town festival in the streets of a town near us and a brass band playing the Radetzky March, etc.

    I only had the 14-42 lens with me (I was going shopping) and so these are heavily cropped from the original with not as much detail as I would like.

    I liked the look of concentration on his face:



    Not quite the same picture as above, but a similar expression:



    Heavily cropped - I was trying to get his face reflected in the instrument, and I did - twice:



    And this one verges on the abstract:

    Nice pictures but you have exactly the same problem I had on Thursday when I was photographing a jazz band - too much depth of field. It makes it difficult to isolate the performer and allows distracting in-focus background. I know I was wishing that I had a nice wide aperture lens with me but, being essentially lazy, I had only the lightweight kit lens with me.
