Shocking Pink

The sunset on Sunday was a complete non event The sun slid slowly behind some thick fog without even a wee sparkle of colour - most rude if you ask me

I decided I would have a wee wander along the shore anyway and enjoy the peace and quiet I was really pleased I did because about twenty minutes later the whole sky was lit up with the most amazing pink light



I think pink might be my new favourite colour

Another shot from the same evening. This was at f20 and 10 seconds with the tripod just holding the camera above the small waves.

This was taken with the E30, Sigma 10-20, cpl and grad, and yes a tripod was used with the camera sitting about 5-6 inches from the ground. Thank goodness there were only small waves

I am totally envious that you even had the chance to get this shot but it's superb!
I bet you're glad you stuck around - fancy walking away and seeing this from a distance and no chance to capture it!
Make a really nice canvas print or bold poster print. Well done.
