  • Autumn leaf

There are some cherry trees just outside our office and although it was still drizzling after a rain shower this afternoon I couldn't resist the temptation to photograph some of the remaining leaves on the trees:

    Olympus Pen Mini E-PM1, m.Zuiko 45mm (90mm equivalent) f/1.8, @f/1.8, 1/2000th sec., ISO 200.

It's quite a contrast to the pale pink blossom in the spring No fruit though!

Lovely shot nice and sharp. I have taken this shot today (great minds) showing our Cherry tree in bloom with some Blackberries growing through it.

This tree blooms twice a year; now and in the spring. This will be its last year as it is growing into the electricity wires and I am having to get it cut down in the new year. Sad as I planted it when my first daughter was born.

Interesting - I would say 75% of the leaves on our Cherry trees here have dropped and absolutely none are green like yours
