    From this mornings walk through the Warren Plantation which is an area of conifers off the forest in which the drive to the ruin of Copped Hall runs.

    Sweet Chestnut on the old drive.


    The trunk of the conifer is really that red.


    Backlit ferns.


    A bit windy this morning but only one or broken branches.

      Very nice, we don't often get the fruit in West Yorkshire, we are a little bit too exposed unless its an exceptional summer. You should look for the fungus Rustroemia americana on old fallen fruits the cupules are up tp 5mm across.uncommon.
