  • Telephoto sunset

Living on the West side of a West Lincolnshire village we regularly get amazing sunsets. Unfortunately I have never captured an image from one of these as there would be a number of intrusions such as cottages, trees or telegraph wires to spoil the shot. Tonight there was a particularly interesting finger of cloud masking the sun with it's edge backlit and casting a shadow on the usual haze. As I had the E5 hitched up to the 300mm f2.8 plus EC14 I rushed out into the lane and knocked a couple off before the scene deteriorated, never thought of using this outfit for skyscapes, might try again:

Only a little fill-in light used in PSE9.

    What do you think?

    Re: Telephoto sunset

I'm a sucker for sunsets, and that is certainly dramatic.

In some ways it looks like it could be a gigantic blaze in the distance, like a major gas fire for example.
