It's a wrap! (automobile style)

A rubbish weather day here in the north, and I spent the greater part of it getting very wet while learning about Lime Mortaring (!).

But sitting outside is a French registered Renault Clio all wrapped up in cling film! But why, we are not sure! Wedding, joke, present or something else? Will we find the answer soon when someone turns up to drive away? Sadly, we didn't see how it got here or who did the wrapping, and none of the neighbours seem to know much about it, so it's all a bit of a mystery at the moment.

Well I can now answer the question as a young French lad just arrived to remove the cling film - it is his last day of work at a local French restaurant, so this was their leaving present joke!

Oh well, it kept the locals entertained for a little while and was worth it for the quizzing looks on passer-bys faces.
