Lucky to attend a non-public event at RAF Wittering today. Took some 350 photos including these of the Red Arrows, the last flying Vulcan bomber and a bandsman, all with the Bigma on an E620. Used a monopod and was pleased with results in tracking fast moving planes.
Congrats on your Bigma!
I like the Red Arrows shot - way cool!
And I am not aware that I ever saw the speed breaks on a Vulcan deployed! In fact, I allways wondered what makes this huge bird fly at all, as it's slender jets do look so unsufficient (to me)!?
The brass guy is aming hard on his notes, isn't he Nice Bokeh!
Great capture of the Red Arrows. Those guys are awesome. You've got that bigma working pretty well they are some of the best shots I seen from that lens.
Some lovely images. Funnily enough the two I like best are the static ones - the bandsman and the cockpit of the vulcan. Both are extremely sharp. The red arrows shot looks like an accident waiting to happen
