Thanks for you kind comments Lynn, I believe it may be a Cream-Spot Tiger moth, any experts out there please correct me if I'm wrongOriginally posted by Floribunda View PostThese are all lovely Huw - I especially like #4 - I am presuming some sort of moth? It is a different and interesting macro.

Thanks very much for your comments John, the FL-36R was used for the last three, the first two are bathed in sunshineOriginally posted by edmund473 View PostVery nice Huw they are all good in my book, when you say flash aided was it the onboard flash of the E5? regards JohnR
Thanks for your kind comments TerryOriginally posted by Barkly View PostLike them all - but I agree that #1 looks like he is a very wealthy bee.

Re: In between the showers
The Tiger moth is a Scarlet Tiger.I've not seen any type of Tiger for years.
I grew up in East London in the 1960's and can remember lot of Garden Tigers.
Well done.All the best

Thanks for your comments MarkOriginally posted by pandora View PostA very workmanlike set of macros, Huw.
The bee is also beeing 'workmanlike' and you have framed the Tiger Moth particularly well.
