    Good capture. I spotted one of these the other day and took a less good picture but I had no idea what it was - I do now! Thanks.

      Nice capture David, I like the vibrant colours.
      Was this shot at high ISO? The exif data doesn't appear as an option in the gallery.

        ISO 200, taken on E5 + 300mm f2.8 + EC14 (I was birding), handheld and much cropped.
