This is why I love macro, because of critters like the last one. Where else would you see such a strange creature, so colourful and obscure! Imagine if these were the size if cats and dogs!! So much passes us by unnoticed.

Not thought of using the 50-200 for macro have to give it a go, easier to handle than the 70-300.

Great series if shots, thanks for sharing.
    Thanks

      Thank you Timmy.

I find the 50-200+ec14 very good for butterflies and moths but not for the smaller things.

Lovely series Andy, I particularly like the first one, where you put the 50-200 and EC-14 to good use

As per my flickr comment, the burnett moth is my fav of a cracking set. Very well taken shots. I'm liking this combo of the E-5 and 50-200, the more I see the more I want!

First class macro images! I get the feeling it's going to be a record year for macros on this forum!

Lovely set Andy. I found an Essex Skipper this afternoon but the sun had gone in and left the 70-300 struggling so no shots.

              Thanks for sharing.

                I'm glad they're not!!

Anyway, if they were what would we use our macro lenses for?

A brilliant set of macros and close-ups, as usual, Andy.

The picture of the Longhorn inspired me to go out and find one too! http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15131
