  • St. Andrew's Cathedral

The cathedral is a lovely building

but the church offices next door are the complete opposite

but they do give you time to reflect (ouch!)

The last image is from the garden of remembrance of the sinking of the Arandora Star which was taking some 1200 Italian and German nationals living in the UK to Canada in July 1940. And yep that's me partly reflected.

I've got to say I think the memorial is out of keeping just as much as the offices next door.

Interesting set, the memorial, is, er, different thats for sure. Number one is the strongest of the set for me.

Interesting set, and some nice opportunities for reflections well used.

Well the memorial is different, and I can't quite see the intent behind it. Assuming it's mirrored on both sides might give some intersting shots of the church itself.

Just ... idiot architects, idiot planners, generally lots of idiots about.
Thankfully this is the exception ... isn't it?

Very good photos mind you, really good framing.
