I'm just so envious that you have access to such delightful creatures as a nuthatch and a marsh tit! I love the nuthatch on the sign - it seems to be attempting to read it

Re: A little bit of lunch hour wildlife

They are not always there. it's a local very small nature reserve and these are taken sat in the car. I have pre baited a small area with food over the last couple of weeks and I am now getting some different species. This was a good day. Sometimes I can sit there for 40 minutes and not see a dicky bird. It's the first time I have seen squirrels there too.
        Thanks

Nice shot of the marsh tit; Dicky birds are very rare here too!

Very nice Timmy, the marsh tit is a bit of a rarity where I live even in the local country park.
              Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

I might keep thread going in a snaarman style. Pictures in my lunch hour? I think the marsh tits have a nest by the pool, they always go to the same bush. Only takes sunflower hearts too, nothing else.
                Thanks

It's when you get NO views that you should start to worry.

Yes you have made your own luck and it's paid off well.
Just got back from 3 hours in a hide and ALMOST NOT A DICKY BIRD.

Also lots of blue tits visit but I can not get one to sit still long enough. Its fascinating to see how many species are in the hedgerows.
