I was quite surprised when my wife asked if I would like to photograph her friend's puppies and I jumped at the chance. 
When we arrived it soon became clear that I had been under a misapprehension; Helen's dog had had...... puppies! Just as well, really, as under the other scenario 3 would have been, shall we say, a little weird.
Anyway, I sheepishly left the studio lights and reflectors (to fill in the under-shadows) in the car and reset the camera from single shot to 5fps; these puppies were moving fast and rarely still.

Whilst they were busy doing that the third was up to mischief all of his own

And here's the proud mum, taking a well-earned break
