Comments always welcome but just some more to share of my attempts with the 70-300 on my E-410 (all hand held so have been trying to hold it steady and get the shutter speed above the focal length)
This wasp was busy nest building on an Agave

4: I'm told this is an Orb spider
5: Was walking though the avocado orchard the other week and saw this mushroom caught in a sunbeam. Only noticed there was some sort of nest when viewed it on the laptop.
6: A crop of the nest? I'm sure you can just make out a black leg underneath the white stuff? I may be completely wrong and it's just a bit of fluff
7: The flatest looking Grasshopper I've seen?
8: A bit breezy so brought this inside - A Shirley Poppy I believe but nice crimpled petals that look like paper:
9: Backend of the fly I posted the other day (Thanks Valmente for the comments by the way)
