Such a beautiful sunny afternoon today I just sat at the top of the garden on the old garden bench with the E-30 and 70-300mm on my lap and I did not even have to move to get these pics just zoom in and out, now that's my kind of photography.

Love the colours on the first two.I walked about 7 miles today and saw lots but nothing would play ball.

Lovely images. Sitting down and just using the long range telephoto lens to capture your shots sounds idyllic !! I must attempt it myself.

Three truly exquisite images, Paul. The 70-300 is to die for.

For all practical purposes I really wish I had not replaced my broken 70-300 with the 50-200.

Really like the strong colour and shape of the flowers against the nicely out of focus background.

I hope to spend some time in the garden myself this evening capturing the mass of spring flowers before the disappear.
