Basilique de Koekelberg

Was in Brussels for the day this week for a Belgium ale tasting.Had a bit of time to kill around lunch time so visited the Basilique de Koekelberg which is apparently the 5th largest church in the world(does anyone know the four largest???)
I dont like the building that much but it is extremely large.I think the inside is nicer than the outside.
Ps there was an exhibition of works by Leonardo Da Vinci inside but did not have time to visit it as was with a friend(non photgraher)who wanted to get to the pub.

A very nice collection of images. Exposure can be tricky but looks well controlled.

Not sure about the "5th largest church in the world" - as usual this sort of claim "depends on what you mean by..." and how you measure size (area? volume?). Wikipedia says maybe 9th or 10th largest. It is however the LONGEST in the world (164.5m). Liverpool Anglican Cathedral has a larger area.

Love the stained Glass Window, you should have that mounted on canvas and hang it up. It would make a great centre piece for a Living room.
