  • Golden Plover

Golden Plover still in winter plumage. This is a very cropped crop of a shot taken handheld with the 50-200, I only took the shot to try and ID the birds so I'm pretty pleased with the result (E5/50-200 at 200)

    "

I blurred the BG a bit as it all looked very garish.

Could it take a further crop to loose the red foliage at the front.

Great detail for an I.D. shot.

Another bird I have never seen John, also agree with Keith about the crop suggestion.

Good idea Keith. I thought the detail would look a bit poor, but here it is cropped, gerrymandered and bg blurred.

I brought the birds closer together, blurred the BG and selectively sharpened the birds. That is a 100% crop and I'm pleased with the detail.
