Saw these hanging around at the end of my daily walk looking for wildlife.Had to nip back to the car for the macro lens......but without a tripod and there being a breeze I never thought it would be a success. W.D.Y.T.
I planned to return for some proper shots but the weathers been even worse.

Sorry, didn't spot this post. The forum's really busy and things easily slip down the page.
What do I think? I like the composition, it's brilliant to have that curved twig anchoring the catkins inside the frame - that was lucky. The background suits the image too.
But I think the weather was against you really. I do hope you get the chance to try again, before the little flowers that make up the catkins go all brown.
