      I had both cameras and lenses with me today and these were all on the 410 and 70-300mm. Thanks for the kind comment!

            Thanks for the comments and visitnig my flickr stream. It takes a bit of patience - I visit the same place every weekend, sturday and sunday and feed the birds on the ground and on the tree stumps etc. Eventually, after a few weeks, they got more and more used to me and were taking it from my hand. My wife now goes with me as she likes to have them on her hand, and I take the piccies.

              Excellent photos! I like the Coal Tit best, because that one is rather rare at my place - but all show great detail, so I assume you took them within "macro-distance" of the 70-300. Am I correct?! Great achivement BTW!

                Thanks for commenting, these were all taken about 8-10ft away ffrom the birds.
